SPORTS MASSAGE

Sports Massage or Soft Tissue Therapy is the management, manipulation and rehabilitation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, tendons and ligaments. It is applicable not just to sports people but to anybody wishing to guard against or recover from a soft tissue injury. This is done using a variety of techniques including massage, Myofascial Release Therapy Muscle Energy Techniques, Stretching and Dry Needling or Acupuncture

I can also offer Kinesiology Taping which helps to improve circulation, support muscles and help heal and prevent muscle injury. Its primary benefit over traditional athletic tape is that it's designed to allow freedom of movement and flow of lymph and blood to speed the healing process.

 

For your first treatment a full postural analysis will be made so that any areas of muscle imbalance can be seen and a treatment plan advised.  Please bring with you suitable clothing so that you feel comfortable (shorts and top).
